Köprülü Canyon National Park lies in the Taurus foothills inland from Antalya, and its river, the Köprüçay, is the Turkish Riviera's favourite place to raft. The rapids here are gentle to moderate, so the trip suits first-timers as well as families with older children. After a safety briefing and full equipment, you paddle through the canyon with an experienced river guide in each boat, with breaks to swim in the cool, clear water. Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant, and on the way back there is a stop at the old Roman bridge over the gorge. Pickup is from hotels across the Antalya coast.
