Which side am I on?
Istanbul Airport sits on the European side, Sabiha Gökçen on the Asian side. Staying on the same side as you land means no bridge, no strait traffic, no toll — and that saving is what the capped price hands back to you. It is also worth knowing before you book a hotel: flying into Sabiha Gökçen and staying in Sultanahmet is the single most expensive combination in the city.

Outside the cap
Silivri is still on your own side of the water but sits well over an hour beyond the city — far enough that pretending it costs the same as Taksim would just push the price of Taksim up. It is €69 instead, which is still below our distance rate for that drive. Everything further out is quoted on real road distance.
Şile and Ağva are outside this price altogether. They are a long single-lane run up the Black Sea coast with an empty return leg, so they stay at €85 — quoted on their own, not against the cap.
