How is a shared shuttle different from a private transfer?

You buy seats instead of the whole van, so the fare is per person. The minibus carries a few passengers going the same way and makes a small number of stops — you still get a Mercedes van and a driver who meets you, not a bus station.

How many stops will there be?

At most 3, and passengers on one booking count as a single stop. The shared route is also never allowed to run more than 25% longer than a direct drive — a seat that would break that limit is simply not sold on that departure.

Which routes can I book a seat on?

Any route we price for a private transfer. You type where you are picked up and where you are going, exactly as for a private booking, and the seat fare is worked out from that route — there is no fixed list of corridors to fit into.

What if the departure does not fill up?

Every departure has a minimum number of seats. Until it is reached the departure shows as still forming and the card tells you how many seats are missing; we may merge it into a nearby departure or, if that is not possible, refund it. We never mark an unfilled departure as guaranteed.

Do campaign discounts apply to seats?

No. A seat fare is already a floor price, so site-wide and seasonal discounts apply to private transfers only. The price you see on the seat is the price you pay.

A seat map like an intercity coach: you see how full the van is and pick where you sit. Your seats are held for ten minutes while you fill in your details.

We confirm the departure

Once the minimum number of seats is sold the departure is confirmed and we email the meeting point. Payment is collected on the day.

Capacity is set by luggage, not by seat count: one passenger, one suitcase. That is why a 4-seat cabin is sold as 4 seats and the route never makes more than 3 stops.

Not a bench. Every seat on the map is a separate leather chair with its own armrests, and you pick the one you want on the seat map.

One suitcase per seat
Capacity is set by luggage, not by seat count, so nobody travels with a bag on their lap. The cabin is sold for exactly as many people as it carries comfortably.

A full departure gets a bigger van
When a departure fills up we move it from the Vito to a Sprinter VIP instead of squeezing anyone in. Same seat, same fare, more room.

When a private transfer is the better deal

Shared seats are built for one or two travellers. From 3 people the fixed private fare is usually lower — and the van goes straight to your door with no other stops.

On a route where a seat is €25, 3 seats come to €75 while the whole van is €65. We would rather say so here than take the booking.
