Can I swim in the travertines?
Only certain pools are open to bathers — your guide will direct you. Cleopatra's Pool is the main swimming area (small extra fee).
Is the day trip exhausting?
It's a long day — 12 hours total. If you prefer overnight, we offer a 2-day Pamukkale + Ephesus combo.
Do I need to walk barefoot?
Yes, shoes are forbidden on the travertines to protect the calcium surface. The walk is on warm, smooth rock — generally comfortable.
