EuroVolley Women 2026 — Istanbul

The 2026 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship runs from August 21 to September 6, 2026, co-hosted by Turkey, Azerbaijan, Czechia and Sweden. Turkey hosts a group pool and the final phase in Istanbul, with matches at the Sinan Erdem Dome in Ataköy — Turkey's largest indoor arena. The Sinan Erdem Dome is in Ataköy, on the European side near the Marmara coast, about 15 km from Sultanahmet and 12 km from Taksim. The Metro (M1A to Ataköy–Şirinevler then a connection, or the Marmaray/coastal road by car) works in daytime, but on match nights when thousands leave at once it gets crowded and taxis surge.
